Michael Kropf MD is a nationally recognized board-certified spine surgeon with over 25 years of experience.

Dr. Kropf’s expertise includes the treatment of all types of spinal conditions and the performance of the most sophisticated and advanced surgical techniques.

As one of the leading spine surgeons in Los Angeles and Orange County, Dr. Kropf’s patients travel from many parts of the nation for his valued opinion and treatment. He is nationally known for his surgical skills in the field of motion preservation with artificial disc replacement, spinal deformity, and other complex spinal conditions.

He is the west coast expert in treating spinal conditions that affect little people. He has devoted his energy and compassion in assisting the little people of America for over 20 years.

Dr. Kropf graduated from UCLA medical school in 1983 after completing an accelerated program at UC Riverside and UCLA. After his orthopedic residency, Dr. Kropf became one of the best spine fellows at UCLA under the auspices of Dr. Edgar Dawson and Dr. Rick Delamarter. Since 1989, dr. Kropf has practiced in orange county and Los Angeles and is a senior surgeon at Cedars-Sinai spine center, which is considered as one of the top spine programs in the united states. As a leader in clinical research, dr. Kropf has been the principal investigator in numerous clinical trials involving artificial disc replacement, pro disc cervical, lumbar, and the axiom lumbar disc. Dr. Kropf has trained over 50 other spine fellows for over 20 years while passing along his principles, surgical skills, and expertise.
